NBD - Fender Solid Rosewood Limited Jazz Bass!

Love it! I had never seen a Fender rosewood neck before. It's the perfect complement to the shell pink body. I'd love to see pictures of the back of the neck. I am adding this to my gas list (I wonder if they'd make a 5er?)

I placed an order in early December and the UPS Santa just dropped it off. It's sort of cold, so I'm going to let is sit for an hour or so. In the meantime...any guesses?

I just opened the case and the bass is still really cold. However, I did snap some pictures! She looks like a beaut!View attachment 3269045View attachment 3269050 View attachment 3269047View attachment 3269048 View attachment 3269049
Thank you very much buddy! This gave me worse gas than a panful of fried garlic!
Where did you buy this beauty?

Does this model have a hex nut for truss rod adjustment or the screw at the heel that some of the vintage and originals have? I'm wondering if it's a "neck off" truss adjustment on this or not.

Hope you named that bass Randy Watson, because that neck is made of Sexual Chocolate!

I dig it...but why pink? No Sonic Blue?
Yeah just shell pink for the Jazz and seafoam for the Precision was unexpected, since the rosewood Jazzmaster comes in both those colors plus olympic white.
Maybe they felt like shell pink was the best color for a limited edition Jazz, since they're making them already in every other color up and down the product line including sonic gray. Maybe sonic blue just isn't that popular of a color at the moment, unlike shell pink and the like which are not just seeing a resurgence in guitars but in fashion and design; although in those cases it's more of a coral pink, which would be even better for a Jazz!

Screw at the heel.... Which is odd because I believe there was a Fender Truss Rod tool in the case. I need to check that...
