Mazel Tov... Love that it can work in passive mode. Sometimes MM active electronics are a bit much.

Congrats on a fantastic bass that could be a lifetime instrument for you! EBMM quality is second to none, and the active/passive switch is a very attractive feature. And it's aesthetically beautiful, as well!
I've had two Stingrays and still own the one that is my lifetime bass (in my avatar).

I have a MIA EBMM Sterling that i found in my hunt for a StingRay. Absolutely fell in love with the neck. EBMM stuff is top notch
The only thing i don't like about that bass is the name, Due to it being easily confused with other models under the EBMM banner, but that's a very small gripe.

Did MM change the Classic line? I thought the Classics had the 2-band EQ only?

Congratulations on the graduation and the new bass! My condolences for being exposed to EBMM instruments though - they're like Lay's potato chips in that it's really hard to have just one.
