NBD!!!! G&L content

I have had this bass for almost a month now (you can see the backstory here: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f8/desperate-need-help-g-l-content-829608/), but just got it back from the tech today!
Anyway, It's a 2004 L2000.
Quilted maple top with honey finish
Birds eye maple fretboard with vintage finish
I got it wired for single coil outers and finally got it back and it sounds bad a$$!
After all was said and done I'm into the bass for $810.
I've been holding off on some recording until this was ready and now I can't wait to get into the studio (my garage)!
It was an ordeal but well worth it!

I totally agree! Amazing wood! And not a bad deal either! Hey, I paid $900 for mine and it's just plain old painted blueburst! (and i still have the single-coil mods to do on it yet!)

I have nine G&L basses, and am not looking for another. But if I came across that for $810, I would have a very hard time not buying it.
