NBD. G&L L2500

Except that both have humbuckers and were designed by Leo Fender, the Stingray and L-2500 have never reminded me much of each other. This comparison shows that do have a somewhat related sound, but the L-2500 is more midrangy and the Stingray is more scooped.

Gotta tell you, that looks like ash to me. Just sayin..

Looks like ash to me too! Just sayin...

Love that green burst. I've got three L2500, A tribute in Natural and two USA blueburst in fretted and fretless. All are Swamp Ash. I am huge fanboi of these basses. All mine have K mod and also OMG mod on pull-up switch on treble control. I own lots of basses and nothing quite does the growl, tone, versatility and playability of my L2500.

Super nice bass and now i'm wondering if I should of bought greenburst rather than blue burst! :)
