Still on the lookout for a Midtown Standard in Pelham Blue...

Two questions here:

1) Have you ever played a Midtown ? They balance very differently from your 335, and neck dive is pretty prominent IMO.

2) If you're fine with all of the above, does it have to be PB ? Midtowns pop up at silly prices sometimes, but they're usually Cherry...

I had a Midtown Signature in PB, and liked everything about it except that the horns weren’t symmetrical like on the Standard. Looks lopsided to me...
I was the second owner (there is now a happy third), and the first owner moved the upper strap button to the heel / backing the neck (where I prefer it as I play slung low), and it was perfectly balanced.
I’ve seen cherry Midtowns for sale lately, but the color doesn’t do anything for me. No need for black, since my 335 is ebony. Maybe it’s the Foo Fighter fan in me that digs the Pelham Blue?
