Thanks. Digging it so far but definitely a learning curve and am getting more and more used to it by the day. Can hear the difference the extra contact creates and forces me to use better technique. Let's be honest though, I gots no business going above the 12th fret anyway, lol.

Also, full disclosure time. The first one of these I received had a defective preamp and had to be sent back. Sounded like when the needle hits the record before the first song starts. This one is solid, sounds great and plays like a dream.

Im looking into getting one of these beauties as well! But Im worried that the 34" scale kinda ruins the B string, especially for tuning to a low A...

Balance is decent but is almost a little neck heavy if I had to say it leans one way or the other. B string is tight and sounds awesome. The extra mass from the single cut really helps.

Hi guys,
I really love this bass too, my other basses have been gathering much more dust than before since I got it, except my 4 string fretless.
It was an impulse buy after trying it in a shop that just recieved a dark and a light one. I played both for an hour or so, and I couldn't let the dark one out of my hands anymore. I got a nice discount too, the owner is a friend, and he threw an Ibanez gig bag in the deal for free too.
As for the nose diving, buying a nice real suede strap resolved the problem for me. Suede has a nice grip on the shoulder, and solves the nose dive problem on most of the slightly unbalanced guitars and basses.
