Jazz bass assy/build opinions please...

Very stoked with this bass, it went together super easily. Basically a Classic Vibe 60's Jazz from parts and using a 70's blocked and bound neck. Weighs 8.8lbs

Vintage threaded saddle bridge,
CV pick-ups, Highway One tuners, parchment guard and added a tug bar, strung up with boomers. Thanks for looking!

The whole thing looks great, but that neck clinched it for me. Outstanding. I have a G&L with a similar neck being built now.

Funny you should say that, it has been mentioned a couple times.

Really cool. Daphne blue is one of my all-time fave colors. Great choice for the neck and binding, etc. Looks like it was great fun to build.

Those bright colors matched with the parchment or white pickguard and the bound/blocked maple fretboard just look so great to me. Well done!

Haha thanks @JRA nothing wrong with that! I did in fact really like the clean look of the black dot neck BUT it did not feel near as nice as the CV bound neck...

That neck looks way better than the 60's neck.

Daphne is my favorite Fender blue. Classic Vibe pickups are excellent. (They saved one of my Jazz Basses. I was almost going to sell it until I replaced the Custom Shop ones with the CV ones.)
