NBD : Lakland 55-01!

Well...look what showed up in the mail today! A new bass!! I've been needing a 5 string with our new BL...all the keys she plays in are way different than our old BL and I've been feeling the need for a 5er.

It is used (but new to me) and has a Bartolini NTMB-918F, with a push/pull for passive/active and another push/pull for mids (I believe). It also came equipped with Bartolini USA MK5 pickups.

When I first got it the action was set super low (I was buzzing all over the place) but I raised the action at the bridge and loosened the truss rod a bit and now she's singing.

I'll be playing her this weekend for our Easter services! I am open to name suggestions. I named my P-bass a while back, first time I've named a bass...she goes by Ruby. I'm not too sure about this one though. Gimme some ideas!

Without further ado...here she is:

I'm not into giving anything a name (it's a good thing I wasn't in charge of naming the cat because she still wouldn't have one) but I am going to make an exception for a fellow 55-01 owner.

How about changing the Fender's name to "For Sale so I can buy a 44-02"?
