NBD!!! My first Fender bass

So, I just bought a Fender Active Jazz Bass Deluxe MIM from a friend, the action is a little high and needs some adjustments here and there but I think I got a pretty decent deal for it (I paid 300 dlls for it) Ive really liked it so far,let me know what you think about these basses!

Its a beauty. Might wanna put a high-mass bridge on it (Badass II) and maybe flatwounds(??) (Roto 77s sing on 'em)

What a beauty. And such a deal! What kind of music do play? I would advise against a high-mass bridge, just my personal preference. But these active deluxe JBs can get some mighty fine mid tones.

Thanks sir! Well, with my main band I play pop dance and pop funk, but I do play in two other projects, a Lo-fi band, and a jazz/swing band... I know! this thing has some beautiful tones!!

Great deal, nice bass! I had roundwounds on my MIM Jazz and the thing was quite a funk player. I can imagine yours being active is awesome to play on.
Really like that vintage white color with the tort- nice! Congrats on a mighty fine bass.

I tried out the 5 string version of this at an open Mic and it cut very nicely. If you get a good one, you've got a good one if ya know what I'm sayin'. Congrats on a good deal for a good bass.

Fender is pretty much industry standard. I've owned a couple, but honestly I always wind up selling them and moving on to something else. Nothing wrong with the Fenders, just that other brands feel more like "me." But I keep thinking I should have a Fender in the arsenal, just... because I should.
