NBD: My first one in 20 years

I asked for advice from you kind people a couple of times about many different things. Thank you all who commented, advised, and read the threads. The bass actually arrived yesterday, but we had dinner guests and I could not set it up and play it right away. Now, it is set up wonderfully and it looks, plays, and sounds amazing, even through a crummy practice amp. Here she is!

Sweetwater was awesome to order from. my Sales Engineer, Jack, spent 44 minutes on the phone with me, answered every question I had and I never felt like he was rushing me trying to get a sale. I am really happy with the bass and the whole experience. Thanks to all who helped me! I love this thing already.

Dang! That's really sweet. Such a great color, too. Love it loud. I'm glad you had a good experience with the dealer given the blindness of buying online sometimes. They seem to do better with customer service than most.

I hope it was a hell of a good dinner, I don't think I could wait it out.
