NBD/NGD - Sandberg, Bluesman Vintage & a really nice rack.

Today was a fun day. I got two very special shipments!!

The first is a Sandberg Marlowe DK 5-string. I’ve been wanting a solid, passive fiver. Such a great vintage jazz vibe! It’s perfect. Sandberg makes great basses (only 8.4lb).

Also today, I received my Bluesman Vintage Coupe with a Bigsby (their version of a tele-- only 7lb!!). I had this made with the intention of flipping, but after plugging it in, I’m not so sure. It’s really (REALLY) nice! I’ll probably list it in the usual places & see what interest there is. But if it doesn’t move, I won’t mind... lol.

But for now, my guitar rack is full!!!
(Wait! What kind of rack did you think I was talking about??? )

When I get a new guitar, after setup, I put it through an informal photo session. Here’s a couple of better photos of each:

I love that I was able to adjust the string spacing from 18mm to 19mm. It plays so nice.

This Bluesman has a gorgeous wood grain. John at BMV even let me pick out the woods he used. Pretty cool!

The four dots are the Sandberg logo. They do that on all their basses.

Yep! The four dots symbolize the four tuners of a bass.

(the only thing that is wrong on my Sandbergs too I play 5ers)
