Beautiful bass! I had the identical body shape spruce top hollow body fretless version I got used around 1979 at Iron Music on Granville St. where Attila had his shop. Ebony board, same binding, finish and parts. His high end stuff like this was spectacular. Would have been interesting to see what evolved had he lived. Dated his niece about a year later and got to know him a bit. I remember asking about a pickup and he opened a drawer with about fifty in there dug around and gave me a Hi-A soapbar. Attila was a wildman who could go hard for days...literally hookers and blow in the shop. Wasn't sustainable apparently. I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure he was found dead in his shop.
Very stylish. I'd expect it to sound superb. It's always a great thing to track down something you admired long ago. May it sound as great as it looks.
Attila's son Steven is a musician and luthier in Montreal. Mostly repairs vs. full builds I think. He worked on a couple of my basses back in the day. He is / was a member of this group, Holy Oak, featuring ubiquitous Montreal indie producer Howard Bilerman of the Hotel2Tango studios / scene.

This is one of the most beautiful bass guitar designs I've ever seen, and a totally new thing to me.
I unfortunately have become even wimpier in my old age, so 9 pound baasses are my limit.
Maybe I could just hang it on a wall and admire its glorious beauty.

There are maybe around 100 or so B100's , the Fretless B500 I have, a literal handful
