I almost gave up on a jazz bass hunt. I never really got to experience one, so I pushed on. My last bass purchase went from p-bass to ray... then back to the same p (my local GC hates me lol). Then I remembered how many J bass copies there are, and I saw this listed locally on reverb:
The front pick up alone almost blows my 40th anniversary squire p out the window. Came with a legit SKB hard case, and matching felt strap. Weight is balanced pretty well too. Pots are a little bit scratchy when adjusting them, whatever I'm a set it and forget it guy. Oiled the board and put some used strings on and it's got me loving jazz basses. Anyone know what the body is made out of?
