Yes, the seller said this was the only one like it. It was made for a Japanese seller, who he eventually purchased it from.

Love it. I'm a sucker for white basses as it is, and that is excellent! I will eventually get another Ric in my stable - if I had the $$ and saw this it would already be here!!!

Enjoy - that's a real beauty!!!!

P.S. I'm sure it doesn't warrant it, but me, I would throw a toaster in there.....just cuz I love the look.

The checkerboard binding DEFINITELY makes it. Regular snow-glo looks kinda silly with just white binding on white. This bass just looks perfect...but honestly it puts the regular recent snow-glos to shame.

That actually was probably Hall's intent.

Now that's nice. Reminds of a white 4001 I had several years ago with Cheq binding. It was 100% genuine yet when I came to sell it I got wind that those clowns at RRF were calling it a possible fake.

Maurice's white Rick was originally Fireglo. It was refinished white in 1968 or 1969, and not by Rickenbacker.

Is this a factory paint job - or an after-market creation? Nonetheless, it looks very good.

The factory seems to need help being creative with finish options, so it looks like a combination they should consider. If the binding were bolder, I'd like it even better.
