NBD! Rickenbacker SnoGlo w/ Checkerboard Binding

Saw this sexy beast in the classifieds here about a week and a half ago and fell in love immediately. I used to have an 83 JetGlo that I foolishly traded away a while back. I've been dying to have another Rick back in the lineup, and did so an a BIG way. It's a 2009, supposedly a one-off for a Japanese dealer, none other like it.

Of course, when the seller from New York went to ship it, the big East coast blizzard hit, and planes were grounded. I had to wait an extra few days. Anticipation like crazy. It was worth it!

My pics suck (first 2), so I included the seller's original pics as well.

Woot! :D

Ordered! Knowing how I like to move around, and generally like to play over the bridge pickup, this will be better for me. :)

Thanks!

Nice! Yeah, I actually ordered the bezel the day I bought the Ric since that is where I mostly play as well. You will be pleased! If I remember correctly, the shipping was pretty quick. He makes a great product as well.

One more thing. Although it was quite easy for me to replace the pickup cover, I found this video to be very helpful since I did not know what to expect initially:

Make sure that ground goes back on the screw before tightening so you do not pick up unwanted noise. It is just a matter of holding it all together while replacing it back in the cavity prior to tightening it all down. It should only take you 10 minutes or so start to finish. Everything lines up perfectly, so no worries there. Also have a cloth on the body so nothing can scratch the finish while you are replacing the part.

Again, that's a beauty of a bass! Make sure to post the after picture!
