NBD Sadowsky NYC modern 5 24

I figured this is worthy of a NBD post since I’ve never made one before! fedex just dropped this beauty off at the shop, so you know I can’t wait to get home and plug it in. I think it goes without saying, but this is the nicest bass I’ve ever had in my hands and Roger is wonderful to deal with, as some of y’all know.

This color is satin black pearl (which may turn out to be a fingerprint magnet) and only weighs 7.6lbs!

Wow! Beautiful. I love that satin black. That with the all maple neck/fretboard, just a classic look. Nice weight to boot.

For those that have played both the current version of the moderns with the Sadowsky pickups and the previous version with the EMGs, can you comment on the differences in overall tone?
