NBD! Schecter content

I forgot about the controls. pickup pan, master volume, master tone. Each pickup has its own 3 way switch to select each coil or both. ( at least that's what they seem to do.) lots of different sounds, similar to a Peavey T-40 I used to own years ago.

Just looked it up. Seems as though they are series/parallel/single switches. Very cool!

I picked up one around a year ago with the red burl and ebony fretboard. They're very nice basses for the price. Tons of tonal options for a passive bass and, a nice neck. Only thing I don't like is the non-contoured body with the binding. It starts cutting into my arm while playing sitting down. Schecter has really impressed me over the last couple years. If someone would have told me a few years ago that 2/3 of my basses would be passive Schecters I would have laughed at them. I kind of find it funny that my Fender is my only active bass.

Found this last weekend at the local Guitar Center, its a Schecter Omen Elite. It must be a newer, updated model because all the pictures I see online are of a completely animal. Anyway, its a great bass, a little bit different feel than what I'm used too, but lots of tonal options with the coil switching capability. A lot of bass here for $599.

I tried the 5-string on Fri, at a local GC. Sounded great with the switching options (took me a little while to figure out what they were), and the B-string is KILLER for the price. The neck was straight, action able to go lower, but I just couldn't deal with the binding digging into my forearm, ala Rickenbacker.

Great bass, otherwise!

Omen Elite-4

I think I'm in the club actually, I also have a Schecter Model T bass that is to die for.

Me too. Atypically it's not too heavy, either. Mmm....gold. Love this bass.

Greetings all! It’s only taken like 15-20 Schecter Bass purchases to determine the direction that I am going in. I am totally into stuff like this at the moment, more are on the way. Will hopefully have a decent amount of more current stuff to trade like in October, November. Will keep you guys posted.
