I played one of these at a GC.
It played like a dream. Had great tonal control.
I remember it feeling very heavy though.
If I could find a lighter one, I could be convinced!
Congrats!
That Michael Anthony Bass is a beauty!
Question: Are the older Model T Basses all 12" Radius fretboards? I might seek out a rosewood or ebony fretboard and get a Fretless conversion done.
This would be the closest to your Schecter Model T. The Invalid Link Removed.
They copied the Model-T (LOL) on this new one that is suppose to hit the streets this winter but, I've heard they may cancel it.

That's a great looking bass, but the price is pretty steep. They are around 1400-1500, right? Oh, I just looked.... 1999

I don't have a scale, but this bass definitely doesn't feel heavy to me. I might go and buy a scale today. I need one.
If you play a new one, many people are let down with the Tone because the stock strings sound dead and lifeless until they put a set of their favorite strings on them then are amazed. Just a heads up. Many people have reported this to Schecter, including myself. I told them they would sell a lot more Basses out of showrooms if they would just put good strings on them.
**Peace**

Aesthetically speaking, I definitely got luck of the draw on this one.![]()
Indeed.
My Model T Session very nearly went back... I only persevered because I had heard some really good recordings with one, and... I really really like its looks
Once my vanity won and decided that I'd keep it and change all electronics if needed (the bass felt so good, that it didn't seem crazy to change pickups/preamp), I replaced the strings. DR Sunbeams. And the bass became alive.
It was in buying a C7 FR SLS Elite (is it okay to include pics of guitars on here?), that I decided to try one of their Basses. The guitar is an absolutely gorgeous build and the playability out of the box, once again, was amazing.
What strings are you looking to put on it?If I'm pleased with the strings that are so disliked, what am I going to think when I put some good strings on it?

I purchased a scale.... This bass weighs in at 9.2lbs. I find this to be quite reasonable.
