I keep an eye out for Squier Jags on Ebay, GC's Used Site, and on Reverb constantly...the Special with the HB pickup shows up fairly regularly on those sites, so they are out there.
I am still looking for a "1st gen" VM Jag in Red (passive P/J, stacked knobs, with inlays)...that baby has eluded me for years!

Very pretty, but very hard to find.

Great pair of basses!
I know it's not a Squier, but there is a Fender Japan version with 2 J pickups. It would complete the set for your P, J and SR basses. I did the same with Fender Deluxe Vs:

The Dimension came about because I wanted something to cop a Stingray tone, but not a MM. It's close.

I share your enthusiasm for offsets. My Squier Jag V is much more comfortable and better sounding (imho because of the PJ configuration) than my American J bass. However I did upgrade to Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders and new Emerson pots/jack. Essentially I turned the Jag back to a passive bass. New hipshot bridge and tuners are next.

I have a thang for Fender offsets. Always have, since I was a kid drooling over Jaguars, Jazzmasters, and Jazz basses in Fender catalogs. After I got my Squier VM Jaguar HB Bass, I kept on looking for her sister in the P/J configuration. Found her in California, lost and virtually abandoned. Wearing a nice Crossrock gig bag. With a minor electronic issue, easily corrected. And a terrible setup, corrected in 20 minutes. She’s so purty, and now plays like a dream.

Lovely basses! I recently decided to pull the trigger on a sunburst VM Jag Special and found one online and ordered it, but three weeks later was informed that they actually did not have stock... And I had a hard time finding any for sale locally, new or second hand. So I've preordered one of the new Classic Vibe ones, but it's hard to wait... Seeing all of these lovely Jaguars isn't helping! Don't know why it took me so long to "discover" these, but I have fallen for them hard. I actually prefer the "clean" look and simple controls of these ones without all the switches and dials, etc.

I am considering modding mine with a simple low gain FET pre for the J pickup to boost it to a similar level as the P pickup, but will hold off until I've used it for a while before deciding.
