After almost 7 months, my new Metro RV4 in DCM with red tort pg arrived today. I am soooo happy!!

Never been one for tort pg on red, but that, my friend... that is spectacular. Congratulations on a lovely instrument.

Good golly Miss Molly that is a beautiful bass. That would certainly make it worth the wait. I once waited 4 months for Rob Allen to make me a bass...... it nearly killed me, but man it was worth the wait. If yours sounds only half as good as it looks, you'll be a happy camper, and I'll bet it sounds and feels every bit as good as it looks. Have fun : )

Can you tell us why you had to wait 7 months?
The Metros, to my understanding, aren't custom order instruments.
I bought my Metro just off the rack at a dealer, zero waiting time, grest bass.

I ordered mine from the shop (NY) itself--there were plenty of Metros at their retailers, but I didn't see the color combo I wanted. If you order from them direct, even Metro, they tell you it will be a 6 month time wait. Initially they thought it might be closer to 5 months, but I got he feeling they had a lot of orders " in the pipeline "
