I almost went with something a little crazier and unique on the inlay. But there’s something about the classic block shape that I’ve always just loved. The gold pearloid looks perfect on top of that Ebony.

I’m not sure about a headstock decal yet. I’ve honestly never liked blank headstocks, but it’s growing on me. I’ve drawn up some designs, but nothing that has made me jump to put it on the bass.

I had a guy on eBay that had done custom ones for me for years, but now he has gone.

here’s one before clear coat.

There are a couple others on eBay and the last one I tried did a decent job.
