Thanks for affirming the wiring on the back. It’s not practical or comfortable as some have pointed out, but it’s part of the mad scientist look and is similar to the Delorean. As a practical matter it wouldn’t fit inside the body.

It's a fine line between the Doc's Delorean and Mad Max's interceptor but you really hit it. Part space and time travel with just a skoosh of ruthless post apocalyptic wasteland for true Astropunk credibility.

Thank you! Speaking of Mad Max, we are seriously thinking about doing a Fury Road inspired double neck guitar/bass combo with flamethrower next. Close enough to a decision to be looking at neck options.

I set up a build thread for this 3 or 4 years ago and hardly anyone is following it anymore so I figured I could do one more thread with pictures of the finished instrument. We plan to sell it in a charity auction and donate the proceeds to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Foundation.

So far everyone says that the playability is excellent.

Met Billy Sheehan at GearFest. He did a little demo! Will post video later. Four other guys test drove it at the Hartke and Ampeg booths. Great fun.

Richard was on call for his day job so it was just me unfortunately.
