My dad is a big AM/DX'ing guy and I feel your pain. Growing up my dad always was building bigger and bigger antennas! He cut half of one of our trees down to get one of his antennas set up and mom was not happy !!! Glad I'm just 2 meter and 440 guy ( when I have the time ).Sorry for your loss. My dad was a ham radio aficionado, too. Before the internet, we were all pretty amazed when he'd talk to people in Australia and China. The neighbours weren't impressed when he built the big tower in the backyard and badgered him until he took it down. I'll never forget being a kid at a gathering of operators in Florida and feeling so mature for understanding the joke imprinted on this one guy's shirt: "ham radio operators do it with greater frequency" ... this bass is a great tribute!

Thank you, they're both nordys and sound damn good together. Got the saddle height adjusted and other than letting the neck settle back in I'm sooooo happy with it. I'll play a bunch when I take breaks from "work"It came out really really nice. Looks perfect and unique...every detail goes together. I think your dad would love this one. It's very cool where you put the Nordy.

I have eight straps, kindle sleeve, passport sleeve and spoil my wife with a bunch of purses...we love CouchHow do you like the couch strap? I've looked at their stuff a few times.
