Got this yesterday and am totally in love. I want more of these. It’s by T.S. Factory in Japan. Does it dive? Sure! But only to about where I play anyway… a little above horizontal to the floor. No forum testimonials anywhere and scant info, but also not so expensive used, so the risk was acceptable, and the outcome is jackpot.

I like the rounds it came with.

I bought it used for about 1200 usd + shipping. It was part of a “one-off” series from 2020, but other used basses by T.S. Factory go for about that much or less, like this one: https://reverb.com/ca/item/82997525-t-s-factory-2017-151a-humanity-type1-0-alder-body
Here’s a great place for stuff like this for those who don’t know: T.s. Factoryの検索結果【楽器検索デジマート】
I wouldn’t throw this one out of bed:

The fauxbucker sounds a LOT like the Sandberg Florence does in the less P-ish of its (the SB Florence’s) two tone circuits. Warm and fat but not overwound and muddy. The lone single coil is the biggest surprise in terms of usefulness.

I wish you could pair the FB and J tho! Or all three! I need seven positions!

Big Boss in Ochanomizu has sone new TS Factory basses in stock. Sadly, they only ship inside Japan, but there are reputable proxy shopping services available if you're willing to jump through those hoops (and warranty will be voided going this route).
