This will be my first one. So I'm hoping I like it. I've never played a Musicman before.
I'm sure you'll like it, the necks are my favorite part. If you don't like it you can always sells it to me
Love that color, but man I'd really miss the oiled wood of the bolt on necks. There's nothing like that wood feel, and I don't like to feel paint on the back of a neck.
Off-topic, but I thought EBMM didn't do endorsements. If I ever got to that level that's something I'd be down for. I'd pay you if you can get them to make you a stingray classic with a 1.5" nut width neck instead of the 1 5/8.

Didn't they discontinue these recently though? I'm pretty sure I remember reading something about them not selling as well as MM would've liked, so they pulled the plug.
i've owned a neck through stingray for a few months now and i am totally happy with it. mine is a 4 string HS in vintage burst.

I just got a MM SR5 HH to compliment my Peavey Cirrus 4. I was able to set up the action on the MM fairly close to my Cirrus right out of the box. Initially it was higher than I would like, but not unbearable. Got it nice and low, hugging the frettboard. My only concern will be how stable the neck will be. I never have to setup my Cirrus, the action always stays the same. I'll have to watch the MM to see if I get the same results. Anyone have any experience with this?
