Please tell me you still have that rare black and maple BB. NBD: Yamaha BB2025x (Extremely Rare Black and Maple Prototype)

The 415 is a killer bass.I have a 415, cheapest of the BBs, and what you have is my absolute fantasy bass, and in the exact color, as well.![]()
That is nice addition to your Yamaha collection. We need a group pic . I always enjoy your Yamaha BB acquisitions and NBD threads.
I can't remember.... how many does that make now? 4? 5?
You seem to always find the rare ones.
Here they are @LadyLoveStingRay5, the current downsized Yamaha collection - but probably will expand in the future again.

Is that a red in the middle ? Or is that the newest Carmel delight?
How do these beauties compare sound wise ?![]()
I’ve always admired this custom mirror chrome finish Yamaha did for Mr. Santamaria.
Great to see this. I have a caramel 1025X here as well, retrofitted with a (slightly redundant but fun) EMG preamp and a series/parallel for the P-pu. I'm blown away by the tone, but still have to get used to the string spacing, as I'm coming from a TRB5.
How does the weight of your 3 basses compare? Mine is on the heavy side.
Wait - they made one with a maple board? Here they are @LadyLoveStingRay5, the current downsized Yamaha collection - but probably will expand in the future again.
