The SB-1 arrived and it's rather outstanding. Great feel and tone.

Is that surf green? Or seafoam green? I love matching sets! I also love G&L. I have the satin seafoam green on my Mustang, Jazz and Strat. That is a great looking set though.

Both are I think seafoam green but the guitar seems just a tad darker than the bass.

But that's funny! Never had so many I couldn't keep up with what I had, and at 10 basses, plus 2 guitars (acoustic and electric) and now a 6 string banjo, I think I have a lot. So how many of each do you have?

Both are I think seafoam green but the guitar seems a tad darker than the other. I like them both. I'm really surprised at how much more comfortable the SB-1 body is than the Fender Precision which I also love.

I have a Kiloton tribute which has the same body as the sb2 and that body is smaller lighter and more contoured than the P. I like it too but I still like to play my P more.

I'm smart enough to not get more basses than I have room for and I don't spend bill money or living expenses on basses.

It's actually much less than before…I'm really trying to pare down. I've got about five or 6 basses right now…the goal is to get down to two, more likely 3.

I bought a couple MIM Precisions figuring I would cannibalize one for the neck for my precision build and flip the other and maybe make a small profit or at least break even. One already sold, the other I've gotta put up for sale locally and then I'm gonna take my precision I was building and part it out since I got this new G&L that basically scratches that itch.

And I basically stumbled across a couple of ridiculously underpriced Carvins that I bought to try..one is lined fretless, so I wanna give it a shot. I may keep those or I may sell them who knows.

I think I have only four electric guitars left and one nice acoustic. But two of the electrics are versions of teles…one is this tribute ASAT and the other ones a nice LSL. Not sure which one I'm going to keep, but one's gonna go. So I'll have my OG modded Hamer Special with a bridge humbucker and neck P 90, a semi-hollow body 335ish style D'Angelico import, and a tele. The ASAT Tribute and D'Angelico punch WAY above their prices…I sold more expensive higher end versions and kept those.

Strats are like jazz basses to me. I love them in the hands of other people but I could never get them to feel like home.

Ha…I just realized I said "only" four electrics, and "probably". Believe it or not, this is what they call progress.

I've been guilty of memory lapse along those lines too. More than once I've been attracted to one for sale only to discover that I already had one. I learned to make a list of all gear to avoid duplication due to my brains many dead or missing cells.

I get all my basses and electric guitars in 3 tone sunburst so my wife doesn't notice when I get a new one. So far, so good.

I periodically weed through my guitars and am surprised when I find one that I don't remember buying. With basses there's not a problem; I only have 26, so I remember each of them.

I'm nearly the same... 10 basses, 2 guitars (A&E), plus cello and a couple of mandolins. And none match or are in seafoam green

Closest I get is a pair of 5's fretted and fretless from then same builder. Different tops though.

I almost bought a Kiloton instead of a P but I went traditional in the end. Actually my wife bought it for me but she had heard me talk about it for a while. I still think the Kiloton is a heck of a bass.
