It's funny how comfortable it is. It balances really well wether you are sitting or standing as well. Now I've got an Epiphone Tbird that neck dives like mad and is a massive pain to play even while sitting.

My SG special is the same, I use a big fat leather strap to keep it up but my cheepo nylon straps definitely make it a challenge.
I've been dying for g&l to do jaguar style bass

Funny thing! My Squier VM is now my backup bass! I've been playing it all day and I cannot find a single flaw, it seems to be near perfect.

mine, too. When I first got it, the fret ends were a bit sharp. Had that corrected and a setup and it is a great bass.
