As far as I know. The only two things that seem not to be OG but do however seem to have been replaced years ago are the Dimarzios and the black pick guard.
Nice, I had one just like that. Looks like the original finish was "mocha" or "rootbeer" like the one in my pic.
This bass is a killer...plays and sounds outstanding. Really like the hot Dimarzio P. The maple A neck is awesome.
Lends credence to the notions that: a) the "beat up" ones are the good ones, and b) there are great 70's Fenders.
There's a 59 P in the same room that cc got this one, and it plays like an absolute turd. It's been hanging there for almost 20 years with a 5-digit price on it.
I'll take cc's '72 any day.
