I needed the look for a project, I expected it to be thick, heavy and clunky. But I must say, Its pretty light, a very smooth player, and very comfortable. I might upgrade the pickup, but i think that's about it. great bass.

Very cool bass. Enjoy it. I played one of these in a light colored LPB and the quality surprised me. A pickup upgrade wouldn't be a bad idea. The case is worth half the price, I'm surprised GC didn't separate it and sell it with a cheap gig bag.

I picked up a LPB one a few years ago. I replaced the pickup with a SD quarter-pounder right out of the gate. It's still a great-sounding pickup, but not a huge change from what's in there already. I'd advise waiting a few months before going this route.

I was surprised by the neck, too. The net was narrower than I expected - almost like a Jazz. The previous owner sanded the neck. Between that and the new tapewounds, it's really smooth.

Nice score. Classic bass. Those sound heavenly with a plectrum through a slightly overdriven amp.

.....I've been looking at that bass for a while, but the colour just does not work for me IMHO
