I've never been patient enough to take that many pics when I got a new bass. Just enough to post a NBD here after I've opened it or got it home from the store and played it.

I'm waiting on sound samples, of which again, I've never been patient enough to do it myself for my basses and NBD posts. They'll be more. Don't worry![]()

Know what I mean?
My D seems low. I can't believe they charge so much for such shotty workmanship. High would be no big deal at all, I've got files. Low is terrible. But, whatever dude. I ain't paying to send it back, and maybe get something worse. I gots Jeezy skills. It'll be bad when I'm doneBeauty. I actually kinda like that paint drip. It does look like a girl’s freckle and the bit of figure in the top ~2” left of the bridge pickup looks like a dimple.
I’m a week late on nbd pics & recording of my Trib Fallout. How’s your nut slots? I’ve got nearly 0.025” to the first fret while fretted at #2&3.
My D seems a little low.
Hahaha, that stuff don't work on me bro.Viagra?
This is a tribute, right? I'm not at all justifying any blemishes but those tributes are a great value! I had a JB-2 that I recently traded on another bass. I miss that bass already. If it plays well and sounds good, I'd be happy. As others have said, the next one might not..Congrats! Yeah, definitely seems B stock, but I never owned a G&L. Is this typical?
Anyway, glad it feels and plays well. That’s what counts.
The shipping box made me wonder why I spend so much time double boxing a bass, already in a hard case, when I sell one. That’s the most worrisome aspect of that transaction, to me. Is that how G&L ships basses?
Glad it arrived without damage.
Like, they even left black splatter from the burst on the body before they shot the clear.View attachment 4216523
Crazy man.
Nope, sending it back. Neck pocket's also cut too deep and too wide, neck sits too low and moves left and right about an eighth an inch in the pocket, and the truss nut stripped. The Allen key wasn't the right size. Bs dude. Little cosmetic problems, no big deal. If I can't get it set up, or make adjustments later, no dice. I guess I'm eating shipping and damage fees. I'm buying a Fender dude. Should've to begin with.
I can't believe they let this trash outta factory, or that MF would send it to me. Crazy man.
I bought a Benton for $125. Shipped to me from Germany in 4 days. Perfect. This thing's trash, and it took a week and a half to get to me.
