Got this from Public-Peace in Germany on Friday. 34" scale Mensinger Joker B 5 string in "Brandy Breath". They shipped it with the neck removed. Saved me $100 shipping! Gigged it a bit on Sunday. Really diggin' it! Check out the website! They do all kinds of stuff. You can spec all kinds of stuff to personalize a bass. I bought this one off the website so it was a great deal. This is about as plain jane as they get, but it does have Delano pickups and Maruszczyk 3 band preamp with push-pull passive bypass. Sounds great! Came with a gig bag and a really nice strap. BTW - I have no business arrangement with them, but if they wanted to give me a "Signature Model" I'd be happy to accept!

I just bought an Elwood 4P short scale from them to help me recover from shoulder replacement surgery. It's an excellent instrument and I get complimented every time I use it at a gig. I can definitely recommend checking them out.

This one is 34" scale. They offer 30, 32, 34, and 35". The shorter scales are set neck, from what I can tell.

Took a little tweaking (I did have to attach the neck, after all). But it's a great player and sounds wonderful. When I plugged it into my practice amp I knew I'd gotten something special!

Wow, that is beautiful! Love the wood grain and the stain color. And while I'm not normally big on f-holes (no, not that kind, get your mind outta the gutter) the ones on this suit it perfectly.
