Got this from Public-Peace in Germany on Friday. 34" scale Mensinger Joker B 5 string in "Brandy Breath". They shipped it with the neck removed. Saved me $100 shipping! Gigged it a bit on Sunday. Really diggin' it! Check out the website! They do all kinds of stuff. You can spec all kinds of stuff to personalize a bass. I bought this one off the website so it was a great deal. This is about as plain jane as they get, but it does have Delano pickups and Maruszczyk 3 band preamp with push-pull passive bypass. Sounds great! Came with a gig bag and a really nice strap. BTW - I have no business arrangement with them, but if they wanted to give me a "Signature Model" I'd be happy to accept!

Wow, that's beautiful! I've been on the Public Peace site looking at Maruszczyk's but haven't gotten to the Mensingers yet. I definitely need to spend some time looking at their models, too. It's a little early, but I'm planning to retire in a few years. So I've been casually looking at various basses and thinking I might finally buy myself a NEW bass as a retirement gift to myself.

You just put Mensinger on my radar. :drool:
