I started this thread for one reason, and one reason alone....

The University of Florida beat the University of Alabama tonight. It doesn't help the football situation, but it feels good to say that for once.

UT is looking great, but inconsistent, as usual but will probably end up with a 1 seed. FSU will make the tourney and could do some damage with that defense of theirs.

Man what happened to my Sparties? From final four to bubble team, sad year? Actually U of M deserves to go the tourney more, but I suspect MSU still gets in. I'm trying to figure out if Izzo worked miracles last year to make that really bad team look great, or if he's really doing a bad job this year.

Ha! And that is a very significant win, my friend. The loss to KY hurts, but if they pull out the win at Vandy and win the conference tourney, I'll still feel pretty darn good about this team going into the dance.

Yeah man! That was a big win, I'm really happy with the way they fought back on the road after Vandy's runs.

My WSU Cougars led UCLA by 13 at the end of the first half last night - ended up losing 58-54 in OT. And that's with WSU's Klay Thompson, the highest scorer in the PAC-10 riding the bench suspended, and our other key player Reggie Moore sitting out with a boot on one ankle.

We darn near pulled off our first home victory against them since 1993.

Now it looks like we get to play the lowly (WA) huskies in the tournament - we've beaten them twice this season and they're not gonna be happy about it. We'd love to send them home with three losses.

Umm no. They are the regular season champs. The ACC tournament hasnt started yet.

Lame how the refs decided to leave the court before the ending of the Rutgers/SJ game.

Rutgers got robbed. Plain and simple.

During football time, it's okay to call players out of the locker room and back onto the field over a boo-boo. Apparently the NCAA refuses to do that during basketball season.

I'll add that to my "Why I hate the NCAA" list.
