NCAA Week 13

Needless to say, I'm pleased. Also, I had a great time. Nice folks at the Gator Club, about 200 of them on hand--and this is in Denver!

Time for the game we've been anticipating all season.:hyper:

Right on. I had no idea that place existed. I was in Denver a few weeks ago when we played Vandy. I ended up watching the game at a Buffalo Wild Wings.

I'm glad you found some fellow fans, and had a great time.

Auburn did not outplay Bama for 4 quarters. The scoring in the last 3 quarters was 26-7 Bama. Auburn did well, but come on.

+1, but let Stanky at least enjoy Auburn's loss :)

On another note, FSU is the worst "used-to-be-good" team I have ever seen. They played like a Chattanooga or a Furman. Florida could have beaten them by 50 points if they hadn't pulled the starters.

The main thing...it's official. Alabama and Florida now OFFICIALLY focussing on each other.

Start the thread!!! Start the thread!!!! I don't want to wait until Monday. :hyper:

I ordered me a new Gator polo and cap to wear to the game on Saturday. Just generic stuff, I don't usually go for conference champs type of gear.

Good point. Riley Cooper and Aaron Hernandez won't run through the Bama secondary like they did today. Jeff Demps and Chris Rainey won't get to the ends and turn it up field like they did today. Tebow....yeah, he'll do what he did today though. :D

This is going to be a good one folks.....again.

He certainly can if he wants, but saying Auburn outplayed Bama for 4 quarters is well beyond pushing it. Auburn fans seeem to be saying that they don't believe in moral victories, but they sure are acting like it. When I was at the Galleria mall in Birmingham yesterday, I saw almost as many Auburn fans wearing their team shirts as I did Bama fans. I saw Julio Jones 3 times while I was there. At one point, I was up on the second level deck inside the atrium looking down over a large food court when he came walking through. Most people gave him some space to just enjoy his free time. There was a big article on him a few weeks ago about how he doesn't get out much because of the way fans pile up around him trying to get pictures and autographs. It was VERY hard for me to leave him alone. But yesterday, watching those Auburn fans eyeball him in the all as he walked around talking and cutting up with a couple of friends was just great. He pretty much single-handedly, along with McElroy, put the final nail in the Auburn coffin. It was just the coolest thing to watch him like that the day after the Iron Bowl.

I hope not, but Hernandez is scarry. There will be some scoring, that's for sure. Not a shoot-out by any means, but it'll come down to a few explosive plays on both sides of the ball, and which team doesn't turn it over.

I'm still for "one team, one helmet," but I must admit, the throwback lids worn by LSU and Florida were pretty cool.

i don't like florida's throwback uniforms--reminds me too much of when i saw the 2006 florida/alabama game. we won, sure, but chris leak fumbled one of the first (if not the first) snap of the game, and an alabama guy ran it back for a td. :rollno:

the blue/white color is scheme is my favorite, though. nike's design on the shoulders looked like it belonged on oregon's jerseys, though. :D
