I would like to replace my Fender OBJ-51 reissue Percision Bass Neck with a Jazz Neck. Any suggestions on what would work?…thx -mike

Thanks!…It's likely a standard Fender neck pocket, so your options and price points are many.
Thank you much!If it needs a square neck heel but you want an A-width Jazz bass type neck for that the only option I know of to get that custom combination is Musikraft.
You might be able to find a square heel P bass neck with thinner neck profile and B-width/1-5/8" nut--making something akin to a Dusty Hill P bass--from another source. That would require some research to confirm.
Thanks! Please make a photo of the neck's heel. Internet finds this bass features a square butt-end, which is unique for 51's precision bass. Jazz bas and later Precisions have rounded heel. Which means Jazz neck won't fit the body.

I stand corrected. Thanks to the more savvy TBer's.
