Don't forget the TC-112 combo. I own it. Got used for $250 on CL. Great EQ. I don't find the effects usable, but didn't buy it for that.

See pix on previous page...My 2 cents is go Acoustic.
I can't add more than that other than use your ears your bass and your opinion thereafter
Post us when you get your amp and good luck
Nice condition cosmetically. You are right, that K140 is not original. Ask around on TB for a good replacement.Dang... a JBL K140, 8 ohms, was in it. I don't think this is original. Nor do I think this is optimal for use with the amp- tho' I could be wrong.
I will admit, a little sheepishly, to being somewhat delighted to find such a prize in this old Crackerjack box, however!
@DukeLeJeune is probably the guy to ask.
At 8 ohms, would that severely compromise the ability to get the power from the amp? It's rated at 110 watts @ 3.2 (4) ohms...Thx Duke, but I would probably recommend the Delta 15a, too. But I'd really recommend a recone for the K140.
Well, considering that this muther is pretty darn loud, I could probably work with it.I don't know about severely but you'd be taking probably a 35-40% hit on power. Enough to make a difference but not a gigantic hit.
But I'd really recommend a recone for the K140.
There are some other good Eminence drivers that I have been studying (based upon recommendations from Leland Crooks) as possible replacements for the Sunn Magna 158's in my 215BH.Thanks @Jim Carr !

That Delta 15A has been rec' d also in recent conversation, but I'm going to try doing a reconed on the JBL I've got here. It's going to be an experiment, I'm in no hurry, and mean to have fun with this. There are some other good Eminence drivers that I have been studying (based upon recommendations from Leland Crooks) as possible replacements for the Sunn Magna 158's in my 215BH.
Here they are:

Haven't made up my mind, but I would bet that one of these would fit the bill. You cab can pretty easily be measured and internal volume/port size entered into WinISD. This is the one time I wish I had a windoze box.![]()

Besides, I have the JBL!
Ear is still to the wall as I go...
Check the edited version of my previous post, too.Aha, our man Bill!
Interesting, yes I'll do it. Getting "The sound" out of the old Acoustic was the original point of having it, after all. Thanks for posting, Jim.Check the edited version of my previous post, too.
BTW, a 4 ohm driver is a good idea.
My pleasure.Interesting, yes I'll do it. Getting "The sound" out of the old Acoustic was the original point of having it, after all. Thanks for posting, Jim.
