Need Help: EBS WahOne

[NOLA Bass]

Hopefully an EBS WahOne owner can help me out here. If I reach under the pedal (in other words the moving foot part) my on/off switch is working fine. However, I can't get it to switch on and off by pressing on the pedal with my foot now matter how hard I press. There are two rubber feet, one per side, but did I lose a smaller piece up underneath that pushes down on the switch to turn it off/on??? Thanks!!!

You will need to put somthing up there to hit the switch, If you lost that rubber piece in the middle. You could just use cardboard and Duct tape. It would work, but not look all that pretty.

yupps....
there's a piece of rectangular rubber underneath the metal foot pedal. mine dropped off when i got it too. Just find it and glue it back. =)

I figured as much. Last night I stuck a few little pieces of velcro in there and got it to work (although had to press a little harder than I'd like). I'll see if I can find something better. Thanks for the heads up!

a 3M rubber foot should work fine and last longer than your foot or the pedal.

The switch itself should also be adjustable - either side of the chassis is a nut holding the switch in place, loosen the nut on the underside and tighten the one on top and the switch moves closer to the treadle.

Unlike EBS' other pedals there seems to be several flaws with this one. I've read plenty of other posts by owners who have had similer problems. Within a week of owning mine the active/passive button just fell out (which was ok as I only have active basses anyway) and then the switch stopped working, which is a common problem with this pedal. I never had any issues with the multicomp or IQ though.

Well, EBS responded right away via email and are sending a new piece in the mail no charge!!! I've had no other issue with any EBS pedals including this one. I've yet to try another wah that comes close IMO.

yupps, EBS did that too when i asked them where i could find an active/passive switch button cos mine broke. Great service!

(had to email them directly after the local dealer in singapore refused to do anything about it or even offer any help)

-color of the part;
-general description of the part (of it has a hole in it etc.);

Why not just ask EBS and they'll probably send you one for free?

Well, my problem ends here. e-mailed ebs, they responded and have sent the replacement rubber foot. Now i have to adjust the switch position because the rubber foot doesn't seem to cover the problem. I still miss a part of millimeter or so. Great feedback btw.
