I think that would be fine as long as the caul can be mounted in the press. it's alll about the cauls for sure.

it's a good idea to purchase the fingerboard radius blocks to match the caul's radius, because, as Rod says, it's very important that the fingerboard be radiused the same as the fret press.

Thanks. From everything I've seen, the cauls will fit without issue.
I plan on getting all the matching radius blocks as well, that's why I got excited when I found I could save a few bucks on the press itself.
