Hey all. I trying to build a setup for bassists to use in church that would be a permanent fixture. We have 3 bassists that rotate, so want to keep things simple for hook up, to be able to tune and go. No amps or floor monitors, using a Rolls 351 for headphone/IEM
I built a rack to house a BBE 383 preamp, Sabine RT7100 tuner, Furman power conditioner and a couple of 1 space filler plates. My problem is trying to split the input from the bass to the preamp and tuner, preferably switched. The pre only has one input (on the front) and the tuner has input/output on the front and back.
Also in the mix, I'm installing a bass shaker plate amp in the rack to drive the transducer. I will need the unbalanced output from the pre to drive the plate amp and the XLR will go to FOH.
What kind of chain would you recommend. I thought maybe by installing a A/B box circuit into a blank panel, so the input could be switched. TIA
