Need Peavey Minx 110 Schematic

I have the Minx removed from the cab, very simple board to work on. I'm pretty sure the GAIN pot is bad. Eyeballing the various electrloytics does not show any bulging or venting.

The amp runs OK, but when it first starts up, I have to twiddle with the gain control to get any sound. It acts like a scratchy pot. I found the replacement part at VibroWorld, if Peavey does not reply.

It would be nice to have a schematic of the Minx, just for reference.
 
Sorry I can't help with a schematic. I've had that same amp for many years and really used it a lot. I've had that scratchy pot problem before but it actually was a dirty pot and I cleaned it up with some contact cleaner. One weak point is the input jack soldered directly to the circuit board. The front panel flexes a lot and cracks the circuit board. I've had a friend fix that twice already. That causes the amp to cut in and out either from moving the instrument cable or pressing on the front panel or pots. Is it possible that the gain control (which is also mounted directly to the circuit board) has caused the same problem?

It's a real pain because it's a very nice little amp otherwise. It works very well for close miced recording. I stuffed mine with insulation and it smoothed out the highs quite a bit. It really gets that West Coast 1960s recorded bass sound without any direct box.

I have not tried pushing on the pots or front panel. I just tweaked the GAIN pot up and down a few times until the circuit cut in.

The pot itself (and the others) feels very smooth. I will take a magnifying glass to the board around the jack, to see if there is a visible defect.

The jack itself is a modular affair mounted on the board. The board itself is just a bread board with components on the exposed side, and traces on the inside.
