I regularly play through k12.2 mains and they rock. I was giving the 10’s the benefit of the doubt. That’s good to know though. Thanks.

maybe I should amend to 12” and 15” powered mains.

well, I have used my K10.2's, and they do (kinda) work, but they just don't seem to work great as a bass amp. IME they deliver a fairly small and somewhat sterile sound, even when using the QSC DSP bass amp setting. The power is the same across the K.2 line, but I feel like the bigger driver may work better for bass.

I would go with a mesa d350 and subway 115 cab for what you are asking, add a second 115 or 210 later IF you need/want more down the road…

I get that and “Buy once Cry once” is easier said than done in that moment in time when budgets are tight BUT it’s only money, you can always make more!
