Neil Young Danceable Songs

I haven't read all of this very fun thread, but just curious: is there a particular reason the OP "needs" some NY in the set list? What prompted this somewhat dubious quest?
I am the OP. Knowing that Mr. Young has many fans, I thought one or two song suggestions might benefit my cover band's set lists.
While I recognize several of the tunes some of you kindly YouTubed-linked here, there are only a couple I would consider bringing forward to the band. I suggested Harvest Moon two years ago and they loved it, as a slow dancer.
Obviously my definition of "danceable" varies from many other folks; that is okay, we are all humans.
For example, Ohio. Fabulous song, love the lyrics and message, but dancing to it? Not for me, thanks. YMMV

Going down rabbit holes like I do, I was wondering how harmonica was also called harp and it's because one of it's early names was "mouth harp". Also it was known as "mouth organ". I understand why that one didn't stick (no pun intended)!..ahhh wait

I second this. This always gets people on the dance floor with my band. I would never consider this a dance song, but we put in in our “dance set”, and it works.
Personally, the ever-dour Mr. Young ( . . . . I'd give a hundred bucks to see him hooked up to a bottle of laughing gas) and danceable as a phrase is the definition of an oxymoron.
However, Mrs. Wilson has a huge soft spot for 'Harvest Moon', so as they say on 'The Sopranos', 'whaddya gonna do' ?
#17 on the list of 15 Reasons to Buy a Five-String: You can finally play that damn 'Cinnamon Girl' with a real low D instead of bouncing off the F-natural on the E-string. Trust me, the Heavens Will Open.

I was watching a Motown documentary on Showtime (“Hitsville, the Making of Motown,” it is awesome, check it out) and Neil Young pops up. Turns out that he was a member of a band in the 60s, The Mynah Birds, that was signed by Motown (1st mostly white group signed by Motown). In the documentary he speaks shortly of having to go through the Motown “charm school” like all the other Motown artists, learning how to dance while playing his instrument etc. Puts a smile on my face to think of Neil Young spinning around like Tito Jackson while playing in a Motown band.
But it gets better...
The lead singer of Neil’s Motown band...none other than RICK JAMES!!

I've seen Neil live more than once--and people are always dancing during his show.
One time a couple in front of us were kicked out because they wouldn't stop dancing.
Some people behind us complained--and also complained when he didn't play one of his folky songs (He did very little of that at that concert-so they must have been very disappointed.)
So a couple was kicked out for dancing--but the guys just over from us who got into a fight with fists flying were allowed to stay.
Well, that's rock & roll.
And yes Cinnamon Girl was the first song that came to my mind for this thread--that couple really got into it.
And nice to see Re-ac-tor getting some love--it's a very overlooked & underrated album-with some great stuff on it--and a lot of fun to play.
If you do just one Neil Young song & you want people dancing Cinnamon Girl is probably your best bet.
