I'd likely go with Cinnamon Girl or Rocking in the Free World. Still, CG strikes me as a hippie-sway, intermediate speed that I could see people slow dance to it. Might be good slightly faster though. I dunno...

Going down rabbit holes like I do, I was wondering how harmonica was also called harp and it's because one of it's early names was "mouth harp". Also it was known as "mouth organ". I understand why that one didn't stick (no pun intended)!

No joke, I was in a Neil Young cover band for a summer when my buddies and I all came back from college (my suggestion for the name Rust Never Sleeps was vetoed in favor of Mr. Soul - I was told we didn't want to hit them over the head with the name). We played a dance bar - and cleared the place in under an hour.

There are no Neil Young dance songs. There are lots of awesome Neil Young songs (I have tried to bring a whole bunch into my band - Cinnamon Girl, Hey, Hey, My, My, Like a Hurricane, Down By the River, On the Beach) but they don't get people on the dance floor. Too bad, as I am a huge Neil Young fan.
