Wait a minute, here! I play a Candy Apple Red Roscoe Beck V!!! It's my gig bass. Still not sure about the 9.5" fingerboard radius, but the basic sound and range of tones is perfect for my cover/bar band.

Is that black pick guard original? It makes your bass look very different, in a good way, from mine with the white pick guard.

I commissioned it from WD Pickguards, along with a copper foil backing. Installation was a PITA, and I have to get a replacement pot for the tone control, as I lost the push/pull functionality in freeing up the plastic dial. That said, I've seen pictures of the original where it almost came off as orange, under strong lights - that orange tint may have come from the original pickguard being kind of a mint green. Consensus is that the black looks way better.

I love my new Genzler setup with the Magellan 800 and Nu Classic 212, but ill never part with this rig. I played many grimy bars with this thing and it always delivered! The old GB stuff was way ahead of its time.

HA....I was just playing this older GB design. The NEO-PAK3.5 still lives on here at the GENZLER AMPS bass bunker. It's always nice to pull out something old and test it against new things. This amp has aged very well. Pic for proof.
