New Ampeg BA-210v2 shut itself off, will not power on

Hey. New here. Just got my first bass amp, BA-210v2. Do not have my guitar here, so to test the amp, I hooked up a CD player. It worked fine and sounded great for about 2 minutes. Then it shut itself off and would not power on. Came on by itself after about 2 minutes. Worked briefly (a few seconds) then shut itself off again. Now it will not turn on at all. User manual is useless and there's nothing in the FAQ. Unplugged, let it be for 10 minutes or so. Still would not power on. Don't see anything about a power breaker or overload protection, but it was not overloaded anyway. What the huh...??

it sounds like a defective unit and needs to be replaced

i dont think there is a magical fix unfortunately

you dont see much squaking and death reports of this series like the PF series.
But like usual there is the power supply deaths. whole board or whole unit gets replaced

Ya, Sweetwater will replace it. Just a defect.
