Hey everybody!! In about a week i'll finally have the money for a new bass. I'll have $750.00 and am having a hard time trying to decide what to get. There's a lpb Jack Read custom jazz with case for $699.00 at bass northwest, but i've never heard of him before. I really love jazzes, but don't have the cash for a am.st. There's also a warwick corvette std. for the same amount! Different animal entirely i know, but also a great bass. What do you guys think? Thanks!!

Jack Read made some real nice basses for a little while. That seems like a good bass for the money to me and I believe may have been through talk-bass at least once.
If you like jazz basses go for the Read.
If you like jazz basses go for the Read.
