So this was a good week for me. I got two new basses and a laptop. I've been hoping to have a P and a J and now I've got a good solid P and a good J so I am good to go.

First up is my SX J bass. The color looks a lot better in person than it does in pictures. I really tried to find problems with it but I just couldn't. Of course there were little minute issues but for $120 it was a lot better than I expected.

2nd this week was the Fender MIM P bass that I got from RFord04. I wasn't sure what to expect since I have heard good bad things about the MIM P basses. I absolutely love it. I tuned it up and started playing and it sounded soooo good. My old Squier P bass was up on Craigslist within hours. I'm gonna replace the nut and I put chrome flat top knobs on it but other than that I am set. Thanks again Rick!

I'm very happy with both and will be set for a while....hopefully.

On topic, sweet basses! It seems that the paint makes the SX Ursa headstock a little more agreeable to the masses

They aren't offensive that's why, unless people are stupidly hyper sensitive! Infact, I hate to think how these people cope in modern life if they're offended by a TINY bit of cursing.....I get more crap than that everyday, and just get on with it.....

No need to be rude. :rolleyes: They're still considered to be swear words. I was just commenting on the fact that the filter didn't catch them. It DOES catch a lot of words, which is why you sometimes see the ..... in posts.

Nah man, I'm not meaning to be rude. Not at all. But hey, we're bass players, we're supposed to be manly and thick skinned aren't we? We're the brunt of countless jokes! ;)
