That's another thing to consider as well. I owned a SR600 and the tone was not my favorite.

Im interested in a base model Warwick or Spector but don't no much about either. None of the music shops has either brand so I need some info. I like basses with slim necks(Ibanez,Jazz basses), and I also like them light. Can someone that knows a little about these guide me in the right direction?
