Hmm, food for thought, what is the reason the SV-2 doesn't like bass? I like the Idea of the Guyatone or even the Behringer because of cost vs. actual use of the effect, the Pigtronix looks cool but for me something in that price range has to be something I'm going to use a lot, in any case I'd have to try it first.

I have a C3 "large dual diaphram mic"...works great, cost me $89.99cdn, buddy of mine has C1 "large single" $69.99, both came with clip and hard case.

Many of my friends have Eurodesks, 2 so far have been replaced, due to problems, but they WERE replaced, no cost to customer.

Have a friend with a Bass Cab 4/12, he loves it, sounds great to me...I'm surprized about this one...this guy is really hard on his things

I wanted the BC2000 USB audio interface, but there were design problems.

What I really like...everywhere is the same price, or you can get it a little cheaper, if you are a dealer, and anyone can become a dealer as long as you pay your bills.

I forgot who, but a fellow TBer has one. He complained about the bypass and the tracking. I'd try a search, because I can't remember exactly what all of his problems were.

The ASDR OTOH looks like it'd work well with bass, and it has a compressor in it too. That way - if you're like me - you can have a compressor (ASDR) early in your chain (to help with tracking while using octavers, harmonizers, etc.) and the end (dedicated comp to normalize volume).

I did a search and found the thread you mentioned :hmm: I think I'll stick to a VP or just keep doing swells with my bass's knob intill I can try the ASDR, no hurry though I have other effects way higher on my wish list. on the comp thing, no I don't like using a comp before my other effects, it's my last in chain most of the time, and as for octavers, I like to run my ODs and fuzzes into then, makes them misfire in odd and random ways:D

You can turn the compression off too. It has 3 separate foot pedals. One for the attack delay/auto volume, one for the compression, and I'm still not quite sure what the other is for ;-D

I'm definitely interested in their delays, the big pedalboard, and maybe even the tuner for my guitbox board. The Muff'n copies (Vintage Vacuum Tube OD) look interesting as well. I'd be afraid of stomping through the plastic case and shattering the tube, though. Depending on if my shop starts dealing Behringer, and they let me try before I buy, I may pick some of these up.

You could also look into the Build Your Own Clone version, which is available pre-built for about $125

I have one of their little mixing boards and it seems to work just fine. If you turn up the master vol too much it makes noise but you don't need to.
I was at a open mic/jamb thing and noticed a harmonica player was having a great deal of trouble with his DI pedal, it looked just like the Sansamp copy but green, I think it's an acoustic DI. But I don't know what the real story was. I would be nervous stomping on a plastic box though.
